This is a
separate product from Oracle used to verify/validate data between a source and
target.
Veridata is a very, very useful tool for doing data comparisons/validation, especially in a like-to-like replication implementation. It is not required to be like-for-like, Veridata can work with different repositories and different data model structure, but this takes more configuration of the tool.

It is not required to be like-for-like, Veridata can work with different repositories and different data model structure, but this takes more configuration of the tool.
When the replication is like-to-like (as in reporting offloading or migrations/upgrades), the configuration is almost automated and this makes it easy and quick to run comparisons.
The tool is robust and thorough in the comparisons – nothing
can compare to this tool for data validation. Another nice feature of the tool is its ability to run incremental comparisons after the first initial full comparison. Another new feature is automatic data repair, this I have not used yet, but I am eager to test it out and then use it in customer sites to show the value of it.
The tool also has a command line interface which can be used to start jobs and can be run by any schedulers capable of running a script (not uncommon to find it configured in cron for nightly comparison jobs).
